John Shanahan

John Shanahan is an experienced Montana mining executive with past President & CEO experience at the Revett Mining Company, Inc. (2008 to 2015). John commenced his professional career in Australia with CRA Limited and its various subsidiaries (now part of the RioTinto Group) and has spent over ten years in mine finance and commodity trading in New York City with companies such as Rothschild Inc., and Barclays PLC.

John has a proven track record in Montana with Revett Mining which operated the 4,000tpd underground Troy copper & silver mine in Lincoln County. The Troy Mine was the 2014 and 2015 recipient of the National Mining Association Sentinels of Safety Award for outstanding safety for small underground mines. While at Revett Mining, John was also instrumental in progressing permitting of the Rock Creek copper/silver Project in Sanders County.

John has a B.Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis & Design from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Columbia University.

John is based in Helena, Montana and will oversee all aspects of the completion of permitting and development of the Black Butte Copper Project near White Sulphur Springs in Meagher County.

Jerry Zieg

Jerry Zieg

Jerry Zieg gained an M.Sc. in geology from the University of Montana and has over 35 years of industry experience exploring for copper, zinc, and precious metals in a variety of settings and geography. He spent 24 years working for Cominco American Inc. and later Teck Cominco American Inc., and participated in the discovery of the Black Butte Copper deposits in 1985. He also led the exploration team responsible for the Pend Orielle Mine (Washington state) resource expansion in 2000 which led to its re-opening. Jerry joined NovaGold Inc. in 2005 and managed their U.S. exploration programs in Alaska until 2009, when he joined Tintina Resources Inc. as Vice President, Exploration, to undertake exploration and development of the Black Butte Copper deposits. Jerry is originally from the community of White Sulphur Springs and brings valuable first hand knowledge of the community, area geology and project history.

Nancy Schlepp

VP Communications and Corporate Secretary

Nancy Schlepp
Nancy recently became the VP of Communications and Corporate Secretary for Tintina Resources after serving as their Public Relations Director since 2013. With a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, Nancy Schlepp has over 15 years of experience in legislative relations, public policy and public relations at the local, state and federal level. Prior to joining Tintina Resources, Nancy was the Executive Director of the Montana Taxpayers Association and previous to that was the National Affairs Director for the Montana Farm Bureau Federation working on international trade and federal policy issues. She serves on many boards and committees and is currently the Past President of the Montana Business Assistance Connection, an economic development organization and sits on Governor Bullocks Main Street Advisory Key Industry Network Committee for Natural Resources. Before joining Tintina, Nancy served as a Meagher County Commissioner for 4 years. Nancy and her husband Chris own and operate the family ranch near Ringling with their 3 children.

Anthony Jackson

Anthony Jackson
Anthony Jackson is a principal of Bridgemark Financial Corp., which provides corporate compliance, financial advisory and financial reporting activities to public and private companies. Mr. Jackson has extensive experience as a director and chief financial officer of numerous publicly traded corporations in the metals and mining industry. Anthony enjoys fly fishing and skiing.

Bob Jacko

Lead Mining Consultant

Bob Jacko

Bob Jacko has over 30 years experience in the mining industry including over six years working with First Nations and Alaskan Native groups. A graduate from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Mining Engineering, Mr. Jacko is highly experienced in operations, construction and planning, in both underground and open-pit operations in the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining Tintina, Mr. Jacko held the position of General Manager — Project Development with Avanti Mining Inc., Vice President and General Manager, Projects for Thompson Creek Metals which included the responsibility for engineering and construction of the Endako Mine expansion and oversight of two pre-feasibility projects. Previous to Thompson Creek, Mr. Jacko spent 20 years with Cominco and Teck Cominco of which the last 10 years as General Manager of their northern operations at Polaris, Red Dog and most recently Pogo. During his time at Pogo, he transitioned from the construction to the operations phase of the project. He was a member of the Mine Safety Bill Committee for the Northwest Territories, and is a member of the BC Mining Code Review Committee.

Chennell Berg

Chennell Berg
Chennell Berg joined Tintina Resources as their Senior Accountant in October of 2016. Chennell is a graduate of Montana State University and her work experience includes working at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Anderson ZurMuehlen, and Penor and Associates, after which she opened her own private accounting business in White Sulphur Springs, MT where she provides accounting, tax, and business consultation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Chennell is a native of Meagher County and grew up on a ranch in the small community of Ringling outside of White Sulphur Springs. Chennell and her husband Sam continue both of their families ranching tradition by raising cattle and hay.
